What does walking in grace mean to you?

Grace is one of those things sadly, that is taken for granted. It's all around us but the flesh always finds something to complain, get bothered or even angry about. This state of being puts us in a positions of worry, doubt and judgement which is the opposite of being in a state of peace. When we stand in peace we are living in the grace that has been given to us by God.

In Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) "6) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

In knowing this every time something or someone comes your way, and you feel yourself losing your peace, I want you to take a deep breath and remember why Jesus die on the cross, and the gift that he left behind for us. I want you to remember that because of this gift of grace is why we are free to live in peace. Your peace should remind you of your grace, which should remind you of the love and sacrifice of Christ.

To walk as a believer we must walk with the fruits of the spirt: Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) "22) But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23) gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!". In doing this we allow Gods grace that is upon us, to flow through us to others, and helps us realize the abundance of grace that is given to us even when we don't deserve it. How humbling. Amen!

Thank you Jesus for what you have done!
